I tried to install for a second time with the driver that I downloaded from the Nvidia website and I had a crash during install once more. ( NVIDIA Control Panel crash - Manage 3D settings, when clicking the Program Settings tab. When the install got to the stage where the screen goes off to blank, the screen returned with the corrupted screen as shown above without finishing the install of the driver, (the Nvidia Experience failed to install). I downloaded the driver from Guru3D and I noticed it was a smaller size. ![]() Using the Guru3D Nvidia driver, my install completed as expected. I can confirm that DDU uninstalls the Nvidia Control Panel and it is replaced in the new install, my computer was not on-line and Windows had no opportunity to install a version of Nvidia Control Panel, (as far as I could observe). Any how, after all that faffing around, I can now try the driver with the simulator. 456.98 was working really well on my system, I used it long enough to confirm that I was getting up to an extra 10FPS, I am not sure if the Asobo updates contributed to this increase in performance. I will see how this driver performs, if it does not work for me I will roll back with a fresh install of 456.98. NVIDIA Control Panel is now owned by Nvidia in this latest installation.
